5 Simple Anti Aging Beauty Tips That You Should Know About

Looking beautiful, graceful, and young is a thought that many people often cherish only in their dreams. However, the fact is that one can realize this dream by following these below suggested 5 simple, yet effective anti aging beauty tips.

#1 — Balanced Diet

Inadequate nutrition is one of the most important causes of premature aging. Therefore, one of the most important anti aging beauty tips is to consume a healthy diet comprising of fruits, green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, eggs, and fish.

To delay the appearance of wrinkles on the face and the skin, one should ensure that their daily diet is rich in proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential omega 3 fatty acids.

One of the most important anti aging beauty tips is to drink plenty of water as it helps to keep the skin hydrated and supple.

#2 — Exercise

A daily exercise regimen of at least 30 minutes can be of immense help in ensuring a health body and beautiful skin.

While exercise helps in improving blood circulation, it drives away toxins from the skin, keeps the skin moistened for a greater duration, and helps in opening the skin pores. Therefore, one of the most important anti aging beauty tips is to exercise regularly.

#3 — Proper Skin Care

Taking good care of the skin is essential for preventing the appearance of aging symptoms. Care should be taken to keep the skin moisturized, prevent the degradation of skin proteins, rejuvenate the skin texture, and reduce the level of toxins from the skin.

One of the most essential anti aging beauty tips is to use only those skin care products that contain natural or organic substances as ingredients. Examples of such substances include Cynergy TK, Nano Lipobelle H QK10, Jojoba oil, olive oil, avocado oil, Manuka honey, and Tocopherol acetate.

#4 — No Smoking Allowed!

According to the available research data, smoking cigarettes causes destruction of skin proteins, and accelerates the process of aging by increasing the concentration of free radicals in the skin.

Therefore, one of the most important anti aging beauty tips is to quit smoking immediately and forever, if one wants to prevent the formation of wrinkles, dark spots and smile lines for a long time.

#5 — Sunlight

One of the most essential anti aging beauty tips is to protect yourself from getting exposed in the Sun because prolonged exposure to sunlight and high temperatures leads to skin dryness and causes the appearance of wrinkles and frown lines on the face.

The best way to stay protected from sunlight is to avoid going outside between 11AM and 4PM. During the period, sun emits light and heat with maximum intensity.

Whenever going out into the sun, always wear protective clothing that covers your entire skin. Apply a sunscreen lotion or a sun blocking agent that contains high SPF content.

A Quick And Easy Guide to Face Steaming For Acne Prone Skin

If you have ever spent time in a sauna, you will know how soothing heat can be for the skin. In ancient Roman times, people utilized the power of heat for cleansing; harnessing the properties of steam to purify their pores and keep their complexions clear from blemishes. This technique continues to be a part of modern beauty regimes today.

What is face steaming?

At around 110 degrees, the temperature of steam causes the body to produce sweat. This sweat contains impurities from the skin, which would otherwise be allowed to cause blackheads and acne. If you do suffer from chronic acne, face steaming can be a great way to clear skin quickly.

This beauty technique can be performed at home, with a large bowl, a kettle, and a tea towel. Whilst professional steam cleans are a common procedure at salons, they can be costly, and it is useful to know how to carry out your own.

What are the benefits of face steaming?

As explained, steam opens up the pores and allows grime and bacteria to be drawn out of the skin. This prevents oil, dirt, and debris from turning into unsightly blackheads, skin obstructions, and chronic acne. The benefits of face steaming for acne prone skin are numerous, because the beauty technique also re-hydrates and re-energizes the complexion.

How does face steaming relieve acne symptoms?

The cause of acne is bacteria and dirt beneath the skin, which accumulates and stops pores from breathing. With the use of face steaming, these pores can be opened up and unblocked. In fact, steam is great when it comes to cleansing and destroying the bacteria and acne nodules which cause sufferers problems.

How regularly should I steam my skin?

Whilst face steaming can be an effective way to treat chronic acne, it is important not to overdo it. The oils which block pores are not inherently damaging, because their main function is to keep the skin lubricated and protected. Without these oils, skin can become cracked and painful.

However, an overabundance of these oils is what leads to acne, so the key is to reach a healthy balance. This is why face steaming should not be performed too regularly, so as to avoid stripping the skin of its protective oils. In some cases, overly frequent steaming can actually result in even oily skin, as the pores work to product extra oil to make up for the loss. The general rule of thumb is to steam clean no more than three times per week.

What is the right way to steam clean skin?

Steps One

Fill a large bowl with boiling water, making sure not to burn the hands or face.

Step Two

Place your head over the water (at least 12-18 inches away). If necessary, drape a towel over your head to keep the steam in, but do not keep your face over the water if the sensation is uncomfortable.

Step Three

As long as the sensation is comfortable, keep your face over the water for 10-15 minutes. You can use an acne wash or a moisturizer for added purification once you have finished the steam.

For extra pore cleansing benefits, put 1 drop of peppermint oil into the steaming water.

Body Lotion and Creams For Effective Skin Care

When people think about taking care of their skin, it’s usually the face they’re thinking about. But, taking care of the skin is something that is necessary all over the body. Body creams can help to nourish the skin everywhere in order to keep an even tone of soft, smooth skin. The best body lotion and creams are ones that accomplish the same goals that face creams do.

Effective body creams will penetrate past the upper, superficial layer of skin to repair the layers underneath. To do this, it should contain natural oils. This gives skin more thorough hydration and results in fewer wrinkles. The skin is left softer and more even in tone. And because dry skin can make skin look older, the result is also younger looking skin.

The face is one way that a person’s age is conveyed, but it certainly isn’t the only one. The skin on the rest of the body ages as well. The signs can be seen in the hands, upper arms, knees and anywhere else that the skin begins to loosen and become wrinkled. This happens as the skin ages and stops making as much elastin and collagen as it once did.

The key to reversing these effects is use body lotion and creams that will stimulate the skin to start producing more of these substances. This can be done with body creams that contain ingredients like CynergyTK that do just that. There are very few products that contain this ingredient, but those that do are well worth the search.

When body lotion and creams are used on the skin, the effect that many people are looking for is to prevent wrinkles. This is a different function from fixing wrinkles that have already been formed. Preventing new ones means neutralizing the chemicals in the skin that are causing them. Antioxidants are the most effective substances for doing this.

To get the best performance from an antioxidant, it has to be able to penetrate the skin as effectively as high-quality moisturizing ingredients. It too has to affect the deeper layers of skin in order to work most effectively. The best antioxidant to do this is a called Nano-Lipobelle H E Q10. It destroys the free radicals that are causing the wrinkles.

Body lotion and creams with this antioxidant should be used anywhere on the body that comes into contact with sunlight. Because sunlight increases the amount of free radicals in the skin, it’s important to combat them in the hands, neck, arms and legs. All of these areas can easily wrinkle without the use of the right body creams.

To keep skin looking its best all over, there are more products needed than simply a face cream. Body lotions and creams are necessary to keep the skin on the rest of the body from aging too quickly. Body creams that contain the right mixture of ingredients can keep skin moisturized as well as making it look younger. Look for lotions that have these ingredients for the most effective results all over the body.

Keratin in Skin Care Products – Beware!

I’m sure you’ve heard about the importance of keratin to your skin health and the look of your skin. Keratin is important to keep your skin looking good, so it must be good to find keratin in your skin care products right?

Maybe.

First though, lets have a look at what keratin actually is.

Keratin is a “structural protein”. It is tough and fibrous and helps hold your skin together firmly, and prevent sagging. As a structural component of our skin keratin has a major role in skin health. All good. This is found in a number of areas in our bodies, like our nails and teeth as well as our skin. As you can see keratin can be both hard and soft. It’s hard in nails, for instance, and is soft in skin.

Keratin in our skin forms below the surface, and gradually works it’s way up to the surface where it forms a protective layer. It is formed by what are known as keratinocytes, which are living cells which exist in our skin.

So isn’t it a good thing if we see keratin on the label of our skin care products and anti aging products?

That depends. You see not all keratin is created equal, and some keratin is better than other keratin. You need the right type in your skin care products, or it won’t do very much at all. I mentioned that keratin is found in various parts of the body, including the nails and skin. So most keratin that is used in anti aging skin care is derived from animal sources that contain keratin. In particular hooves, horns and feathers.

All these animal products are basically melted down and subjected to high temperatures, and extracted from these animal products for use in skin care products. However the problem is that the process used to extract the keratin, and specifically the heat to which it is subjected, changes it’s form by a process known as hydrolyzation.

Hydrolyzation basically means that the chemical properties of the ingredient are changed. And for keratin, the hydrolyzation means that it is changed to a form that is no longer useful to our skin.

So is keratin in our skin care products good? No, not if it’s been extracted by use of the traditional extraction process and it’s been hydrolyzed.

Wait a moment though, because that’s not the end of the story.

There is a small company in New Zealand that has found a way to extract keratin from the wool of New Zealand sheep in a way that does not lead to hydrolyzation. So the keratin is not degraded, and is still “bio available”.Ie it remains in it’s natural form. It’s called “Functional Keratin”.

So if you find this type of keratin in your skin care products then yes, that’s good. Very good.

Problem is, the major skin care manufacturers don’t use Functional Keratin because it’s more expensive. And they are in the business of keeping their product costs down to keep profits up. So as long as they can say there is keratin in there, that’s good enough.

So how do you go about getting your skin care products with keratin in them with the “bio available” form?

Can you get skin care products with keratin in them with the “bio available” form?

Yes you can. It’s in a skin care range manufactured by a small niche skincare company and it’s extremely effective. It’s been described as “liquid skin” and works, according to current scientific studies, to stimulate the production of new skin cells to replace the old ones. This helps improve elasticity and firmness in the skin, both extremely desirable outcomes.

So to answer the original question, is it good to find keratin in your skin care products? No, not if it’s traditionally extracted, it won’t do much. Yes if it’s Functional Keratin because it will do it’s job of firming your skin and making it look healthier and younger.

Ahhh, but where do you find this tiny niche skin care company?

7 Powerful Winter Home Remedies For Acne

We are in the middle of winter (well in most countries, anyway) and if you have acne, you might have noticed that your acne can worsen during the winter months. Or if you never had acne, you’ve just seen your first pimples flare up on your skin, mostly on your face.

Many people notice a drastic change in their acne during the winter months, particularly when they live in areas where winters are quite harsh and cold. If you have light acne in summer, you will see that your acne will really liven up during the winter season. Also your acne scars will become much more visible, because the summer tan is gone so there is nothing to hide them.

Before panic sets in, you need to know the most important things you can do by yourself to keep your skin clear of acne, or at least how to avoid worsening it.

What is with winter and acne anyway?

During the winter, we are mostly indoors, which means we are exposed to dry air pretty much all the time. Well, except when we go out to the biting cold, so we’re then exposed to a sudden change in the air temperature. If you think you’re skin will not suffer due to these factors, you’re sadly mistaken. Our skin is the first contact with the outside word, so it is greatly affected by pretty much everything going on around us.

Here are some proven tips and acne home remedies that you can employ right away from the comfort of your home, to help you go through the winter unharmed.

  1. Put a vaporizer in your bedroom. This will moisture the already dry air due to the constant heaters. Also you can use a humidifier for better results. When I was a kid, and all these gadgets were not available, I remember my mom every night putting a bowl of water in the room. This kept the air moist and it really helped. I guess old home remedies are still some of the best, even if now we have these modern gadgets that do it faster and more effective.
  2. Open your windows for about 10-15 minutes every morning. This will allow to mix the air a bit, so the dry air leaves your room, being replaced with fresh air. Just make sure you have an extra blouse or a warm robe on you, so you don’t catch a cold. Some people are more sensitive than others, so make sure you know what works for you best.
  3. Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. This tip is good all year around, not only for the winter months. However, you might feel less thirsty in winter (because heat promotes thirst stronger), so do not forget to drink your 7-10 glasses of water per day (at least).
  4. Change your skin cleaser. You might not be aware of it, but there are different cleansers for different types of weather. For example if you’re using cleansers containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, they are not the best in winter. Why? Because they dry your skin – which you definitely want to avoid in winter. Switch for the winter months to milder cleansers, such as Dove or Neutrogena, they’re available pretty much everywhere.
  5. Keep your skin moist by using moisturizer. If you haven’t used them yet, now it’s the time to start. Make sure you use a moisturizing gel or lotion, not cream.
  6. Cut back on using over the counter acne fighting medication, such as creams and lotions. They are great but definitely dry your skin (since one of the ways of fighting acne is to dry out the pimples). Winter is not the best time to have a dry skin, so I don’t say stop using these, but use them every second day instead of every day, at least for the next 1-2 months until the weather is improving. Note: if you have doctor prescribed treatments, make sure you do not change those, not at least without your doctor’s consent.
  7. You need a way to sweat out the toxines during the winter. This is maybe one of the most overlooked home remedy that you can employ in winter. Basically what happens is, during summer, with exercise, sports, jogging, you sweat. Then you drink plenty of water. Which means, through sweating you release all the toxins out of your body. However during the winter, people become more sedentary in nature, and exercise much less than in summer. So you need to find a way to release those accumulated toxins during the winter as well. Find a nearby sauna (unless you’re one of the lucky ones to have a sauna at home), go to a gym, but don’t stop exercising in winter.

There are much more things you can do, but if you adhere to these 7 only, you will get through winter with a clear, shiny face.

The Nature’s Special Creature: Woman

When God created the first man, Adam, HE used just a day in creating the man. Not only did God created Adam within that day, HE also created all other terrestrial animals (animals that live on land such as sheep, lion, elephants, birds of all kinds etc.) on the same day.

Hence, we are able to know the limited time during which God created Adam, the first man.

However, when it comes to the creation of the first woman, Eve, we are unable to know the extent of time that Father Nature spent in creating her. All we know was that the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam (Gen. 2:21) while creating Eve.

Hence, we are not able to quantify or verify the duration of Adam’s sleep but it must be for a very long time, maybe days, according to the description “deep sleep”.

If you compare a man’s physical body composition to that of a woman, you will discover that a woman’s body is extremely more complex, more resources-consuming in taking care of (resources like time-consuming, money-consuming, deep-research-consuming, energy-consuming etc.) This is because the Lord God himself took a long time in creating a woman; both the internal structure and external structure are core complex and more unique to that of a man, so a woman will usually take a long time, energy and whatever resources is available to her in taking good care of her body so as to maintain the already-set perfection.

This also shows that our Father Nature took a special time in creating the first woman, Eve, to make her more adorable to her husband, Adam.

Let’s look at the head of a woman, the long hair consumes a lot of money to make her more desirable to her male counterpart, the ear must be pierced and adorned with jeweled earrings, her face and her lips powdered and lipsticked respectively all these cosmetic preparation is deficient in a normal man. Man will just cut his hair low and have no need to powder his face and apply lipstick respectively.

Also, a woman’s body is so tender that it must be given special care. The breasts with relevant brassiere, the whole body creamed to make it more attractive (stretch-free, mark-free, dot-free etc.), the underside well taken care of before being covered with nice pants (e.g. the menstrual pad to cover the vagina opening during the menstrual period). All these preparation is not the ordained part of a man’s lifestyle.

The legs of a woman also speaks a lot about the woman; the legs must be well taken care of, nails well-polished, the whole feet well-manicured, sole of feet well maintained, marks not allowed on the legs/thighs so as not to disfigure/disorganise the woman’s natural beauty.

Most men don’t care about their appearance and may not bathe for days but a woman’s body is not designed for such.

Why? This is because a man was created along with other animals that don’t care about taking care of their body while the Eve, the first woman, was specially created without any form of interference from any quarter. So, when you see some men behaving like animals, don’t be amazed or offended. It’s from the grassroot!

Do you know that we never knew, because we were not informed, of the personal instructions and lectures God gave to Eve when she was created? We only knew of Adam’s instructions (Genesis 2: 15-17). Maybe God lectured the newly created beauty, Miss Eve, about how she must be taking good care of her body in order for her husband Mr. Adam to love her and desire her more and more! Pa Adam was deeply sleeping at the time, so we cannot really know the private instructions passed to Ma Eve.

While a man have only his stomach for food consumption, a woman’s internal structure consists of both stomach and uterus (which is designed by the Lord God baby creation).

I don’t really know the function of a man’s breast but I know a woman’s breast is the outlet of natural resources – milk – for the new-born baby as food. Also, the woman’s breast is a strong appellant for sexual arousal in her male counterparts.

While a man has his long penis and testis (inside scrotum) for urine and sperm release, a woman has a more complex vaginal components which are used for sexual performance, child birth, gateway to ovum fertilization, just to mention a few.

It is the fundamental duty of every woman to take care of her body, to make herself more beautiful and desirable, disease-free and completely healthy.

Father Nature (i.e. the Lord God) specifically designed a woman in a unique way far apart from her male counterparts, so a woman should make sure she helps in maintaining the divine design on her. She mustn’t neglect the divine efforts on her special body.

Revive Your Weave With Apple Cider Vinegar

We all know that apple cider vinegar has many remedies. If you’ve spent any time online, I’m sure you’ve come across the main uses from curing ailments to removing stains. What you may not know is that you can revive your weave with apple cider vinegar.

The key element in using apple cider vinegar (ACV) is it restores the pH balance that often gets out of whack in your hair when using chemicals and heating appliances. When this happens, you can bet your hair will go from fabulous to frightful in no time at all. Dull and frizzy, flat and matted – just plain messy and a horrible sight.

So how does ACV work on weaves you ask? Well, when you purchase high quality virgin hair the cuticles are intact and fully sealed. No chemicals have been used so the hair is nearly perfect. However, as soon as you start using shampoo, coloring, hot curlers, combs, and other chemicals and tools, the cuticles will begin to strip down until you have unmanageable hair that’s just sitting on top of your hair.

I’m sure you’ve been there – standing in the mirror with your weave looking a hot mess. It feels like you have a couple of inches of new growth, but it’s a weave. No girl, it shouldn’t be that way, so let me tell you how to fix it.

You see, ACV helps reseal the cuticles of your hair because the pH balance is lower than the pH balance in the weave. Using ACV and rinsing sort of brings the pH balance back to its normal level, thus rejuvenating your hair.

So how much apple cider vinegar do you need? Well, it is recommended you use three parts water to one part apple cider vinegar. Put hair in a large bowl and leave the hair in for.75 min. to one hour. If your hair is on your head, put it on and put a cap on top for the same amount of time.

When the time is up, rinse the ACV out and use a deep conditioner. Conditioning the hair plays a big role in the final outcome so please do not try to cut corners. A little time will save you the cost of buying new bundles, at least for this time.

When you’re done, you will find your hair is sleek, slick, and beautiful just like when you first got it.
